Construction Method: Sculpt head from clay. Make a silicon mould of the head. Slip-cast head in F16 and fill with polyurethane . Sculpt the body from plywood and polystyrene. Create the hands and feet by making a wire outer frame and sculpting with mallodoug (a wood pulp and glue mixture). Make limbs from dowels, using leather for the joints. Build up shape and muscles using mallodoug. Scrim entire body using paper and watered down wood glue for the bottom layer, followed by a layer of latex and tissue paper. Paint and accessories.
