Original Color Photo of a French Nieuport. A friend of mine introduced me to a website dealing with period color photos taken during WWI. I was stunned! I did not know anything about this early color photography. While perusing the site, I came across a really neat color image of a French Nieuport taken at Soissons, Aisne, France in 1917.
