SPAD XIII American

Hello again Patsy2shoes, Nice name, Welcome to the Aerodrome. The plane looks like a SPAD XIII, I recognise the "Grim Reaper" emblem, I believe it's form an American Aero Squadron, but don't remember which one or have the information handy. I seem to remember little tombstones with Black Eisenkreuse on them along the bottom of the emblem. Someone else will be able to address all of your questions, I'm sure. All of the personell standing in front of the Spad appear to be wearing American Service Uniforms, the three fellows in the back all look like they are French. It's also interesting that the machine appears to be painted in a two tone job (maybe a Red aft fuselage(?)), rather than a standard camouflage, plus a White radiator shell.
